This website is for people interested in working for, or interested in what is happening at, Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui, Hawke's Bay (formerly Hawke's Bay District Health Board). Our region, the Hawke's Bay district, is home to over 165,000 people.
What it isProgramme Incubator is a ‘grow your own’ workforce development programme. It introduces health professional role models to students and whānau/family.
The Central Region Metabolic and Bariatric Service (CRMBS) is provided at Wellington Hospital for the District Health Board’s in the lower half of the North Island including Capital & Coast, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa, MidCentral, Whanganui and Hawke’s Bay.

Expressions of interest have opened for four new regional Consumer Councils, closing on 3 June. The new regional Consumer Councils will be in place 1 July. More information about the role of Councils, qualities sought in members and the application process is available here.
Basic Assessment and Support in Intensive CareThe BASIC course is designed to teach the practical management of critically ill patients. It consists of lectures, skill stations and interactive tutorials covering many aspects of the care of critically ill patients, with an emphasis on supportive management, particularly mechanical ventilation.
