The NETP programme has been designed to provide structured education to consolidate the NCNZ competencies and support new graduate nurses into professional nursing practice.

Our NETP programme encourages graduate nurses from all specialties to incorporate clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and cultural safety into their nursing practice.  Post graduate study is imbedded into the NETP programme and you will be given individualized support and choice to ensure you get onto your chosen career pathway,

Pastoral care, peer support and clinical supervision is important, and these remain a priority throughout your NETP year.  You will be supported by a dedicated NETP Nurse Educator, area specific Nurse Educator, NETP clinical coaches and a primary preceptor.
